The Missing Links

This page consists of links that we thought our fellow Vermin would appreciate.

Obviously, for starters, there's the present day Carroll Hall page through the University.

A mailing list is in existance of vermin from the mid '80s to early '90s. To subscribe send a message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ND.EDU and in the body of the message, type: subscribe vermin-l . (Lower case "L", not "one".) It is a centralized email address that automatically sends a message to all that subscribe. You must subscribe to reach the veteran Vermin. Once you've subscribed you can them send a message to - VERMIN-L@listserv.nd.edu - should you wish to make contact.

As with all good Domer Websites, there is the official University of Notre Dame homepage.

Now some of the following can be found through the University homepage, but we thought we'd facilitate the process.

The Observer is now up and running on-line as of Fall '99.

Scholastic also has a site. Some back issues are even present.

Three students from O'Neill Hall have started a site called NDToday. The page is difficult to describe. It is sort of an underground e-newspaper not affiliated with the University. The site is basically an all-purpose homepage on campus life for the student body.

The University has a location for Alumni Class Home Pages if you'd like to check out your year and post a message to your classmates.

Also available through the ND Alumni site is a directory of Domer addresses if you wish to contact someone. You can also subscribe to get a free alumni email address and have the email forwarded to your preferred account. Subscribe at Irish Online.

Those who have been away awhile might want to check out the Campus Map to see the changes to our beloved campus or take a virtual tour.

All the athletic achievements can be found at our very own Notre Dame Sports Center.

Should you wish to listen to an Irish sporting event (or basically any sporting event) your best chance to find it is here at BROADCAST.

Even if you are not a subscriber, you can still catch some of the articles in the Irish Sports Report.

A great source for any late breaking stories on the sports or campus scene can be found in the South Bend Tribune.

A great source for recruiting information and other sports news can be found at The Recruiting Corner.

If your in the would for some entertainment, check out cartoonist Dave Kellett's home page. He's an ND alum, and drew a comic strip about life at ND, "Four Food Groups of the Apocalypse".

ND Unlimited is the Unofficial Home of Notre Dame Football. Actually it's better than the official home. Check it out.

Any Notre Dame football article from most any newspaper can be read at Notre Dame Football News.

If you'd like to check out the latest line on the Irish or any other college or pro football team, go to the Hollywood International Sportsbook.

Here's the offical NBC site for Notre Dame Football at MSNBC.

An on-line Irish hoops chat board is available at Sports Midwest.

In addition to those links, we thought we would provide some other popular sites that you could easily access after checking out the Vermin alumni page.

ESPN
Hotmail
Yahoo
The Ultimate Band List
Switchboard or Anywho, which are basically internet phone books that allow you to look up old chums and tell them to check out VerminNet.

If you have any other suggestions for links that the other men of Carroll would appreciate, please contact us.
